Fran Merida has penned his first professional contract at Arsenal.
The 17-year-old was lured to North London by Arsene Wenger and his staff last year - following in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona's youth academy.
Merida is likened to Cesc and is already close friends with his fellow countryman - who has made a huge impact at the club since his own arrival in 2003.
Merida turned 17 on Sunday and Arsenal wasted little time in handing a long-term deal to the midfielder - who has pledged his future to the club until 2011.
Soon, we'll see another Cesc..
