Emmanuel Eboue is rated as 50:50 for the Premiership clash with West Ham on Saturday.

Apart from that, Arsène Wenger had only good news to report when he spoke to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. Gilberto (hip) and Jeremie Aliadiere (foot) have recovered from the injuries that kept them out of the game at Liverpool last Saturday. Therefore if Eboue is declared fit Wenger’s only absentees in the squad will be the three attackers who are out for the season — Thierry Henry, Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
“We have Gilberto back and Jeremie should back,” said the Frenchman. “However Eboue is a doubt. He has a problem with his groin. We’ll have a test on Friday and see after that.”
The Ivorian has been troubled by a succession of niggling injuries this term, most often on his ankle. It appears this particular problem may have been a case of ‘too much, too soon’ in his comeback.
“It is unbelievable,” replied Wenger when asked about his injury record. “He was out for six weeks and then played a complete game when perhaps he had not recovered. Sometimes that is the price that you pay; you get another injury.”
