Arsene Wenger insists talk of a summer move to Barcelona for Thierry Henry is 'not an issue'.
Widespread speculation in the media on Friday claimed that the Spanish champions were readying a £20million bid for the Arsenal captain.
Henry was a target for Barcelona last year, but opted to sign a new contract with The Gunners before the start of the season.
And Wenger is confident that Henry, who is sidelined with groin and stomach injuries, will be staying at Emirates Stadium.
"It's not an issue because I had a chat with Thierry Henry," said Wenger told the website..
"He is clear he wants to stay, I am clear I want him to stay. It's not an issue at all.
"That is a story that has been created by somebody, not by our club and not by Henry because we are both on the same wavelength."
Meanwhile, Wenger believes Kroenke Sports Enterprises' purchase of ITV's 9.99 per cent share in Arsenal is positive for the club.
The move has led to speculation that Stan Kroenke, owner of Colorado Rapids, with whom The Gunners have a partnership, will now launch a takeover bid.
Wenger is not concerned by the situation at boardroom level and feels it can only have positive implications in North London.
He added: "It was a surprise to me because we have a partnership with Colorado Rapids and I feel that the owner may be now, since he knows the club better, thought he would take some shares in the club because he likes what we do.
"That's quite positive."
