Wenger - We want fourth for football reasons

Arsenal’s motivation to finish in the Champions League places is based on football not finance, according to Arsène Wenger.
Even the Frenchman admits Saturday’s match with Bolton at Emirates Stadium will be instrumental in deciding fourth spot in the Premiership. Should Arsenal win, a place in Europe’s top competition — along with the revenue it brings - will be “80 per cent” assured. Should the Bolton bogey continue, it would up for grabs again.
With a new stadium to pay for, the Champions League money is important to Arsenal. However, according to their manager, it is not the primary concern.
“Firstly, we want to play at the top,” he said. “The major target is that level. At the start what is important is that we have a good football team.
“You can always adapt to the revenue,” he went on. “The most important thing is that you have a team that can help you achieve what you want to achieve.
“At the moment I focus on this game and not the consequence of if, if, if, if, if. That doesn’t work. You just focus on doing well.
“We have never gone bust, we always adjusted to what we face. But we have always [qualified]. Don’t worry, we’ll be there again.”

Yes, Wenger has an eye for talent. However, he tends to keep discovering people of the same type. I guess it's to fit his tactics and formation. As much as I think he's good, I would like to see him uncover a fresh kind of talent. right now, arsenal without henry equals chicken without head, henry is the only one who is capable of skipping arsenal, although toure can too. biggest problem, they create create create, but din score, thats what wenger is worried about right now
