Freddie Ljungberg will not take any part in Arsenal's game with Manchester City on Tuesday after succumbing to a hamstring injury.
The Swedish international picked up the problem in Saturday's crucial 2-1 win over Bolton, although The Gunners have not yet clarified if the injury to the midfielder will result in a long term absence.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Ljungberg will miss out for the visit of City, with Julio Baptista and Jeremie Aliadiere both possible candidates to replace the Swede in a support role to Emmanuel Adebayor.
"We lost Freddie Ljungberg on Saturday with a hamstring injury but everybody else should be available," Wenger told the club's official website.
"There will not be too much rotation I think. We feel that stability is important at the moment.
"We are not in other competitions and we know we have a breather before the Tottenham game. Therefore I feel it is important to gain a little bit of stability at the moment."
