Arsene Wenger has been fined and warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association.
The Arsenal manager was charged by The FA in December for improper conduct after being sent to the stands during The Gunners' 2-2 draw with Portsmouth.
Wenger was involved in a confrontation with referee Steve Bennett at half-time after believing Pompey were wrongly awarded a free-kick just before the break, which led to Noe Pamarot's opener.
The French tactician admitted the charge and at a hearing on Tuesday escaped a touchline ban, but was fined £2,500 by The FA's Disciplinary Commission.
"At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was fined £2,500 and warned as to his future conduct," an FA Statement read.
"Wenger had admitted a charge of improper conduct in relation to his words and behaviour towards the match officials at half-time of Arsenal's match against Portsmouth on 16 December 2006."
Wenger was fined £10,000 earlier this season following a touchline bust-up with then West Ham boss Alan Pardew.
He is also awaiting a date for a hearing following a separate incident after the Carling Cup final in which he was charged with improper conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute.
