Tottenham boss Martin Jol is in awe of the status enjoyed by Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
Recent boardroom upheaval at The Gunners has led to speculation over Wenger's future ahead of Saturday's North London derby, though Jol cannot envisage the Frenchman departing the North London club.
Despite a disappointing season on the field at Arsenal, Wenger continues to be held in the highest esteem by the powers that be at Emirates Stadium.
Neutral observers are similarly gushing in their praise of Wenger and Jol believes that is a measure of his opposite number's nurturing of the next generation of Gunners talent.
"It's great. If you bring a lot of players through your club, and at a big club like Arsenal, you still get praised at the end of the season, even though they are out of all the competitions. That is unbelievable if you can do that as a manager," Jol told the website.
Jol hopes to emulate his celebrated rival and paid tribute to his attacking brand of football.
"I hope I can do that in the future because that would be a fine position," added Jol.
"I love his philosophy. He always plays football. I saw them against Manchester City in the week and, even without Thierry Henry, they seem to play in a similar style with a lot of movement and passing, better than any other team."
