Arsenal are reportedly ready to move for Caen ace Yoan Gouffran, who has attracted attention from clubs across Europe.
Chelsea, Valencia and a host of Ligue 1 sides, including Paris Saint Germain, have been admirers of Gouffran in the past.
PSG hoped to sign the 20-year-old during the January transfer window, however they were unwilling match the €3million (£2million) valuation.
The Parc des Princes club are likely to bid for Gouffran again in the summer but could face strong competition from Arsenal.
Meanwhile, PSG defender Sylvain Armand has rejected talk of a move to Lyon, having signed a contract extension this season.
"I have heard about that, I even read it," Armand told Le Parisien. "But that is not reality. I have signed an extension until 2010.
"I don't know where that rumour comes from."
