Emmanuel Adebayor has hit back at the critics who claim his finishing is poor and insisted that he has improved since he joined the Gunners and determined to work harder next season.
Whilst the 23-year-old Togolese striker scored a number of crucial goals last season, he still missed a considerable amount of good chances.
He admits that he could have scored more goals, but he insisted that the fans should not worry too much.
"I need to work on my finishing, but I'm not so s**t in front of goal," he told Four Four Two magazine.
"I was a good player when I joined Arsenal but I'm better now.
"I'm learning loads, I have more maturity and I feel I'm getting better and better.
"I've missed a lot of good chances but I'm working hard to improve my goal record."
Adebayor is convinced that his striking partner Thierry Henry could give him some advice on how to handle this issue.
"You can't just watch Thierry 100 times and copy it, you must communicate," he explained.
"Thierry tells me where and when to run, how to score one on one.
