One killed in traffic accident along Changi Coast Road

SINGAPORE : A traffic accident along Changi Coast Road has left one man dead and another injured.
Callers to the MediaCorp News hotline said the accident, which involved a car and a delivery truck, occurred at about 9.40am on Monday.
Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles.
Civil defence officers took about 10 minutes to extricate the two men.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at 10.15am.
The truck driver suffered injuries to his right leg and was sent to Changi General Hospital.
