David Copperfield's Magic

Hey guys, ever wondered how David Copperfield, the greatest magician at the present age able to do awesome magic tricks? I've been quite fascinated by his shows since a few days back. He could do things like making the statue of liberty disappear, walk through the great wall of china, cut himself into two and still move about etc etc.
Some people say that he has learnt the power of illusion, and that he performs illusion to viewers, making them think that all his tricks are true. However other people have different views on his acts. Some believe that he had the helps of spirits to do the magic, since it is not normal human act. Some says he dabble on occult or even have his own supernatural powers.
