Symptoms of kyphosis, that may be present or not, depending on the type and extent of the deformity, include mild back pain, fatigue, appearance of round back and breathing difficulties. Severe cases can cause great discomfort and even lead to death.
Treatment for kyphosis may involve anti-inflammatory drugs as well as exercises to strengthen the abdominal and hamstring musclesBasically, if it is a mild case, it should be easily corrected with correct workouts.

Whats that? ill check on that.Originally posted by Marco_Simone:Foam rolling can help.
Thoracic Extensors, Middle and Lower Trapezius, Rhomboids: With your arms behind your head (not pulling on the neck), lie supine with roller positioned in the middle of your back; your glutes should be on the ground. Roll upward, reversing direction when you reach the level of the armpits. This is an excellent intervention for correcting kyphosis.happy...

and while watching TV, you could put your hands parallel to the ground, then start pulling back, then go back to starting location and repeat that many times. Pull till you can feel the contraction of your back muscle. In addtion, you could use a light weight in your hands for this exercise

Btw, if you think of foam rollers, it also means you need more flexibility. What I have read recently is that poor flexibility or muscular imbalance can cause bad posture too.
They wont know what's a foam roller in the first place.Originally posted by davidche:Hihi, sry ah, do you know of other stores that sell foam rollers??
