isn't that abit too much?Originally posted by MidnightK:good that you buy online..
abt 70 servings per tub..
drink it before workout and after, and before bed..
x2. I only use it post work out. Other than that, not worth it. I already consume about 180 grams of protein from normal food.Originally posted by Agenda:isn't that abit too much?

Why not just use casein powder instead?Originally posted by eagle:I've another way to use ON whey before sleeping
1/4 to 1/3 scoop + 400ml HL milk + 1~2 eggs
This is sort of copying the protein structure in VPX Zero Impact's MRP, such that the protein is released into your body throughout the night And it is a much cheaper version; my recovery is slightly faster and I can quickly concentrate on my school work
Although some research do show that milk is not a very good protein source
Too much? At a body weight of 196 lbs, my protein intake is less than what is recommended. How long would the protein help? Whey is synthesized by the body within 2 hours(might be faster but I can't remember). I don't take any meals directly before sleep, unless I'm cutting then I eat a tub of cottage cheese.Originally posted by MidnightK:Jem777,
its too much for you..
cause you consume like 180g of protein already..
but drinking before bed is good..
cause your body becomes catabolic when you sleep..
I bust my ass every time I go, so nothing's wasted I guess.Originally posted by eagle:post workout
but useful only if you workout intense enough. Really intense I mean.
didn't buy mahOriginally posted by Jem777:Why not just use casein powder instead?
actually I thought recommended is 1g protein per g of lean body mass and not body weight... not sure abt that...Originally posted by Jem777:Too much? Could you list a sample workout/exercise week? So that we have more variety for people to refer to. Thanks!Originally posted by Jem777:I bust my ass every time I go, so nothing's wasted I guess.
i do biceps and triceps because I feel like my bench press is being limited by my triceps. Otherwise I also lazy to doOriginally posted by fishbuff:None. U can get by with just skim milk and eggs.
The main thing is with your training; compound exercises all the way.
Even at my current training, I wont do isolation exercises like bicep curl nor tricep extension.
Just squat, deadlift, military press, barbell row, bench press.
Haha I'm not so sure either. I've heard both, and varying amounts recommended, from 1/lbs to 2/lbs. I used to do a psuedo ripptoe but now I'm on a 4 day split.Originally posted by eagle:Could you list a sample workout/exercise week? So that we have more variety for people to refer to. Thanks!
Plus one. Funny how many people can get this wrong.Originally posted by fishbuff:None. U can get by with just skim milk and eggs.
