Hi all. I'm currently 180cm but weigh only 62kg.
Tried taking weight gainers and hitting out at the gym for ard 3 mths plus but still no effect. (currently)
Keep eating till 5 times a day with mostly meat and rice while drinking full cream milk every nite also no use. Sian 1/2 cuz i had been like dis for past 6 yrs ever since sec sch.
C doctor , doctor says no prob with body.
Nid at least 10kg more 2 hit my ideal figure.
PS: Tried doing nthing, spam fast food, chocs and fatty stuff and slp at least 8-10 hrs a day only end up fall sick and lose even more weight. go fitness prog oni gain muscle but weight oni gain like 1.5kg?
Any wise souls who can advise me wat 2 do?

You need to do some bodybuilding activities. In my past, during my teenage days, my weight is pretty much 65kg(skinny) most of the time. I only manage to gain some decent mass (hit 70Kg) after few months of training in the army.
Your body weight will increase when, your bones become stronger, muscles become stronger and body retain more water. Fats are like ice under the sun, they wont last long.

Just eat more calories than your body can burn.
why worry about your weight? as long as you're healthy and fit, the weight doesn't matter. i was skinny and underweight in NS, but got gold in ippt every year. my advice is be thankful of the high metabolism rate, as you grow older, you'd start growing fat even with the same diet. just like me now. :(
when you hit the gym, what training did you do?
Did you do the Big 3? Squats, deadlifts, bench?
Just doing bicep curls or triceps extension won't help you in your goals.

i see lots of pple go gym only do isolated muscle groups, and light machine weights, then complain why they see little effect. Furthermore, they train only the upper body. They also spend a lot of moeny on powders to no effect.
Why?
Those that they train only target the small muscle groups, and not the big ones. Like that how to gain weight/strength? Not sure if I remember correctly, but ~>70% of all your muscles come from your back and lower body. How to gain when you only play with <30% of your muscles?
Protein or weight gaining powders are not miracle products. With a correct diet and training regime, you don't even need them. With a wrong diet and ineffective training program, taking them is tantamount to throwing them into the drain.
In short, fix your diet, fix your training program, then look to supplements.

last time i was skinny de...still am though but more leaner...
wot i did was hit the gym...once a week
but at the same time i kept training at home day and night just use dumbell at11kilos..
after a month my weight gained by 4-5 kilos lol...when i stopped my weight didn't go down...lol i think protein intake still kept at normal..take more white meat de...

its kinda disgusting seeing guys with bulky body and no cutting...and also those with big upper body and then the leg so small..like cartoon nia..

jason_87, how much weights u carry first?
Perhaps u may like to share the amount of weights u carry for the barbells, dumbbells, when u sit and pull the handle down, etc.
And weight gainers may be different from protein intakes. What's the brand?

yup...sometimes can see those kinda guys at the beach where they often go to show off their stuff...lol..
But you also know that its not easy at all to get all bulked up.
I ever saw this guy, he has the perfect bodyframe about 1.8+ and broad shoulders, what was ridiculous? his moobs were at least a freaking B and not proportionate to any parts of his body except his arms.
Just be urself, train regularly, eat healthy..... those girls that like u will like u, those that dun will not even give u a glaze.....
No need to spend so much time on this unless doc says ur body nt healthy la............................
