I'm relatively lean and I can say my chest and arms are quite well tone. But I'm having fats on my stomach which results in me looking fat whenever I take off my shirt. I have been doing this every weekday after my gym session but it still doesnt help! Any solutions?
Leg raise : 15 reps x 3 sets
Inclined sit up : 30 reps x 3 sets
Crunches : 30 reps x 3 sets
I jog 3-4km 2-3 times every week too. My body is toned, but I need the abs! Anything wrong with my exercise?
if you want abs to come out, go diet.
hmm.. do you have a healthy diet? cut down on those high fat content food..
Do 300 sit up everyday. After 1 and half months, I gurantee got effect.

I have been having the same diet for years. I still have my packs when I'm still in my secondary school days with daily sports trainings plus the same gymming regime.. But now I started working and don't really have time for daily sports. Can only make it for night gym training.
300 sit ups got no effect la. 1000 sit ups a day bro. And jogging cannot reduce the spare tyre.

so simple...u must not eat fatty stuff.. and must eat in correct way.. choose correct food and learn cooking yourself sometimes also.. then you can make sure you dun takein extra calories...
come on guys.... any exercise can reduce your waist fats..... its general knowledge now...

well karen mok is always aneroxic, so 300 sit ups suffice for her lol. I would think swimming 20 laps a day would help. And of course the diet has to be fat free and with lots of vege and fruits from now on.
While human physiology and exercise science are very complex when we go into exact details, a general rule is that you must try to lose more calories than you take in to lose fats!
understand that losing fats and building abs are different altogether!

Well, doubt that sit up recommended by the forumers will kill the fat before it kill the person doing it...
Google for "8 mins abs workout video" and try it. You may see results provided you cut out all fats from your diet. Fats is the main culprit covering the top of your abs and hence its absence despite doing abs workout everyday.
The key actually is to concentrate when doing any abs workout. Quality is more important than quantity. 15-20 "focused" reps are more effective than 100 sloppy ones.
Your abs may ache initally when doing the 8 mins workout but that is a gd sign as it signifies that you are doing it properly.
The simplest way to lose a tummy, is to simply square your shoulders back and suck in your tummy daily and regularly.
I find that men with bad posture, like haunching their backs, usually develops or have their tummy more obvious when walking or talking to people.
You might also want to consider adjusting your diet to include in more cruciferous vegies like Brocolli, Cauliflower, Kale and even brussel sprouts. Have them steamed, stir fried with garlic and blanched will do the trick.
They are known to help burn the deposited fats at your tummy instead of your carbo.

only cardio can burn fat.....you must have a strict diet regime...no sugared drinks, less carbs, no oily food, eat more fruits, brocolli is your best friend when you are hungry, .....you can try High Intensive Interval Training also known as HIIT(google it) right before your breakfast...im sure you abs will show after a month or so by doing it 3-4 times a week....i can assure you doing situps will not make your abs show....remember sugar lowers your metabolism rate and the best time to do your cardio is in the morning before breakfast as you would not have taken in any food meaning no calories to burn=burning fats...or at 7pm-9pm when your metabolism rate is at its highest...good luck!

I think real HIIT shouldn't be done before breakfast because even after proper meals, intense HIIT can really make you puke, imagine the effects without eating.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you got a problem working off normal fat... I wonder how am I gonna shave off this beer belly of mine!?
