the white tip of my finger nails (the place where you start clipping from everyt you want to shorten them) is growing in area. you know how when you accidentally cut it too short, sometimes when it grows back, it leaves a white area of the nail that is slightly detached from the skin beneath it?
that white area of some of my nails is expanding, which i find very strange especially since i have purposefully cut my nails only a bit at a time. currently some of the white part fills 1/3 of my nails, making it look weird. i'm wondering why this is occurring, fungal problem? is there any way to stop this and/or make my nail grow back to normal?
strange. i've not hear of anyone else having this problem.
some other info which may or may not be relevant:
-i'm male
-sweaty palms (mild)
-plays racket games
-toe nails have no such problems
any help will be appreciated. thanks
any ideas anyo?
