Hey guys, so i've recently started developing lower back problems whenever i run. Just wondering if any of you know what the problem is. Is it my shoes? My running technique? My breathing technique? My posture? maybe i just crack my back wayyy too much? Or whether its a medical problem like scoliosis? I think im gonna stick to biking and rowing till i find out. lol. But i do need to train for that 2.4km that i have to do in a year!
i'm not any expert but it should be your posture and technique..
so i guess lean more forward when running? I just don't really want to lean my head forward, cuz thts what a lot of joggers do to get oxygen to their head, but it strains ur neck muscles. I may be hyperextending my back though when i run. So posture is for sure something ill try different. I think you're right about technique actually. I realize that i run very flat-footed. Not using my calves as much as stomping them down on the ground. So the vibrations may have damaged my lower back? thanks, i think ill stick to biking for now, and switch back to running in a month or so lol.
