gym - reasonable price??

  hi everyone

  new to singapore - i'm here for three months initially but probably for a couple of years. as i'm not 100% certain i'm staying, i can't commit to a year's contract at a gym. i went into california fitness or whatever it's called, and they tried to charge me $250 a month if i don't sign up for a year. needless to say i laughed at the sales guy and walked out. there was no counter-offer either!

  is there anywhere that doesn't offer a laughably outrageous price for month-to-month use?

  Hi, I would suggest you could use  the Singapore Sports Council gym.

  • Ok, Ok u  can stay here. I was being obnoxious but honest. You can find a good gym at Revenue House near Newton. They are in the Revenue House building in Newton, off Thomson Rd. They do not charge a lot, it's on 5th floor, u can go there any hr till 8. They used to have a Thai kickboxing class too.
