I was wondering..when people go to fitness centre..are they really want to be healthy or making a good shape of body..hmm..curious..because I really want to start to go to fitness centre but my friends said that once I stop doing that..my body will gain weight easily...what do you think?
1. Some people go to fitness centers to stay fit, while others want to get into shape. We all have our own reasons for doing so.
2. If you are not consistent with keeping fit, then of course you will start to lose shape. How quickly or slowly that happens depends on how much you lead an unhealthy lifestyle.
3. If you are new to this, then I strongly suggest using the SSC ClubFITT public gyms first. They cost only $2.50 per entry, and the facilities are good enough for most people.
that sounds great..and helpfull really..^^..have you ever tried that one..I mean the sport tool?
I've used the SSC gyms at Bedok and Tampines. Bedok is pretty small; Tampines is pretty good and spacious.
If you are still new to the gym equipment, you can ask one of the staff there to show you how to use the machines.
interesting...do you know how to choose a good fitness centre coz there are a lot and recently I see sgbrochure but still can't decide..
Seriously, like I said, just try ClubFITT first.
After trying it a few times, then and only then can you decide whether a membership at a commercial fitness centre would work for you. Mind you, you need to sign up for 1-2 years of membership at one go, which would cost you a few hundred at the very least.
At least if you decide that gym training doesn't work for you after your ClubFITT experience, you would have only wasted a few dollars.
I tried with a newbie instructor, but it turned out didn't go well with my expectation, So i kinda took break quite some time. I want to start again, though...
