Had been wearing spectacles for 30 years ad getting tired of it. My eyes are not nice, so wearing specs hide the flaws. But I think it will be amazing to have near perfect eyesight for the other hla fof my life.
But I am quite fearful cos I read about some cases of constant pain after an unsuccessful ops, which can affect daily life and make a person depress and suicidal.
I had made a consultation appointment with a surgeon at SNEC. Anyone has experiences to share?
See two different surgeons about the lasik procedure and make your judgment. So far had friends who did it and it's alright. Just bear in mind that it's irreversible because your corneas are cut. Then again, the technology here is ever evolving.

It is better to insert the lens rarer than lasik.
When you get older, and you start to have short sightedness. You can take out the lens and wear glasses.
The reason why I did not do a lasik is because people actually wear sunglasses to shield their naked eyes from the sunlight. So at the end wearing glasses is better because it can protect the eyes from UV light.
Sucess rate are quite high.
eyes not nice ?
Wear....
my sis now has perfect eyesight after lasik.
you have to be damn damn suay to have problems after the ops.
so go for it.
Since you have made a consultation appointment with a surgeon at SNEC, write down your questions, as they occur to you.
Because when you are there and the talking starts, you can't remember all the things you want to ask.

I seldom go under the sun as my work is in the office and I stay home most of the time. Even my interests are indoors: bowling, mahjong, ktv and pool. If i need to protect my eyes, I can always get more fanciful eyewears with UV protection, right? Right now just stuck with the same pair that I had been wearing past 3 years.
I got eyebags, so if I dun wear specs, looks uglier. But.....dun care, I wanna see the world in clear view without the frame boundary! :)
Can I say my surgeon's name here? hope won't get sued. haha.
i think so.. lasik is safe n fast.. and after lasik dont forget to take care of your eyes.. so it wont useless #mynephew'expirience
only a qualified specialist can advise u...and he will get u to sign an indemnity form as well...
