I would stick with cardio, that way you'll lose fat from all areas of your body and really gain some nice muscle in your legs.

when it comes to losing weight, Calories intake and nutrition is important. If you are doing exercise but yet go eat all the fattening oily food, don't expect result. Feel free to pm me if you are serious and I will try help you.
bout myself, I am not those very lean ripped guys yet as I just started to work in Singapore (I am a Malaysian) and I just did a dirty bulk for few months and once I settle down I will go back to gym. Back in Malaysia when i was trying to lose weight, I manage to lose about 4-5kg in 3months.
