I visited Pulau Ubin quite a number of times this year.. About five times I think. Haven't got an accident... So I can assure you it's quite safe.
Pulau Ubin's trails are rather easy to cycle... Contrary to popular beliefs, it's actually tar roads, not some rocky mountain...
I suggest you guys rent a mountain bike with full suspensions. And don't rent from the first bicycle shop from the jetty.
AND if I didn't remember wrongly, the last boat ride back is at 6.30PM. So how are you guys going to come back? Swim? -
