Something about these song :- This song is written and sang by Eric Clapton. It is rumored that this song is written for Eric Clapton's son who passed away.
I used to think that this is a sad song(with nice melody) but never truely understand this song. Especially the part " Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees. Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please" , it just simply makes no sense to me at that time.
But just recently, I finally understand how it feels... Time is eternal. Every minute pass, it add an emotional load on one... Eventually, time can bring one down, time can bend one's knees. Time can break one's heart and have tat one begging please...
The above is especially true for those who tries to resist them ... -

In his song, it gave the idea of committing suicide when one is really in deep depression... And hence, it recieved many critics mah...
But, tat is the truth wat... tat is how one feels when one feels that his or her world has trumbled... However, the song also mentioned tat the one is trying very hard to get over it ... But the more the one tried, the more time is not favour to him... Welll... in the end, the song mentions that the person in the song still have to tried ... coz, he or she does not belong in heaven....
Of coz, many cant accept the above... Some say tat it is satanic... some say....
But I feel tat human is after all human... We all have emotions that we cant control... There are up and downs in our life... What's wrong for one to sing a true song for those who is trying to get over his very very down in life? -
