Just thought it's a very refreshing idea. The car chase scene at the end of Deathproof was stunning. No blood was spilled, no ferrari just beat up old cars, no stuntman, great engine sound and a seriously climatic sequence. People are sick of watching chicks hold up a gun shooting, why not hold a leg up and shoot instead. Pun intended etc etc. It's all for the fun of it. Serious movies are boring.

But the scenes where the girls had their uber long conversations seriously bored me.
Maybe you could shed some light?
Because i really have no clue the relationship between theirconversation and the movie. -

Then the car scene makes up for it. The long conversation was all rubbish but it's more or less what it sounds like when women get together and talk. I enjoyed it for what it's worth, raw, uncensored and very real. Deathproof is about nothing. It's just crazy stuntman mike in a deathproof car killing women with great asses and legs flying. Some smart movies make really good sense like Crash and Babel or Closer. But these grindhouse movies are enjoyable as well. Say 28 Weeks Later was fantastic, much better than Resident Evil. It's about nothing. Just mutable zombies eating human beings. The theme is the same, just how it's executed that makes the difference. -
