Well Ladies, dun expect chivalrous men in Singapore. If you meet one, be glad that you did. If you don't, since u din expect, there shldn't be any disappointments.
Guys, I can't say if you shld be chivalrous or not. But there's always a group of girls who admire gentlemen and their actions towards them.

Sometimes when we offer to pay, they refuse to let you pay. Ok maybe first time you offer, out of courtesy as males, they decline (no idea if it's ego or just being gentlemanly).

We are juz following standards set by social norms.. When in fact, these norms might not be normal at all..
