the waffles is different from the waffles frm mingles.
the waffles from Golden mile has a slight sugar coat and u dip into chocolate while the waffles from mingles has no sugar coating instead, it has some chocolate topping and is supposed to be dipped into the ice cream.
To compare, i feel that the mingles 1 was nicer, reason being, it was made on the spot for us, it was crispy on the outside yet soft n hot in the inside. when dipping with the ice-cream, it gives u a hot-cold combination
I certainly has eaten better ice-creams out there but in terms of value per money. Which is 11.90 for waffles, free flow icecream, coffee/tea, i feel this ice-cream deserve at least a 90% rating. Its worthwhile, the ice-cream is nice. The spread of ice-cream makes u spoilt for choice the ur first few scoops. and the service staff is always tag a smile to their face.
BBB, i certainly recommend that u go there to have a try, for 11.90, its the price which u will have for a cup of coffee n waffles wif a scoop of ice cream at st-andersons.
Bdw, if u are going there, and do intend to go with forumers, do feel free to post an outing there, i certainly will go there again in near future, if my pocket permits me -

Nope... it is not crowded at all in fact there is barely people eating there... But they reserve good seats for u if reservations made... u can try to make reservations... -

i went to eat the ice cream buffet with my frens yday..
we ordered some different flavours, and roughly know what's nice and what's not.

wahlew that green tea ice cream.. after eating some, i juz left it to melt and din feel like having another go liao. it's so YUCKY!!! taste like wasabi+green tea+celery.. omg.. i cannot stand celery smell de.. my fren even said it looks like face mud..
i only had the creamy ice cream.. waffle was a bit dry for me.. and no maple syrup.
on average, me and frens had 7-8 scoops. I come back LS.
ice cream + waffles + root beer/coke = $12.80
it's worth it if u can eat a lot.. but for me.. i will get sick of ice cream if i eat too much.. so i think i'll be satisfied with Gelare ice cream + waffles with whipped cream, maple syrup and chocolate fudge which cost $6+ on Tuesdays.
