U can work at PUB or Hyflux.
My primary work with HR is in conducting employee opinion surveys, but the real work is done with the managers of the client organisations.
./agree with the person who said something abt studying just for paper niah, it's the other skills u learn on the job that is invaluable.
personally i sort-of regretted choosing the poly route when i was younger. but now that i'm young (note: not old yet okie), i realise it doesn't matter... cos wat i'm doing now got no relation to my poly course
anyway here's my brief school to work experience:
jc - 3months, then quit cos the gals not cute, guys not yan dao
poly - did eletronics engineering. it was hell cos my maths sucks. if your maths sucks, dun do engineering. it's a miracle i got my dip.
work aft poly - head hunting ... everyone go 'HUH???' ya la i know like way off right. but it shows that a paper is just a door opener
uni - did Information Technology ....... everyone go 'HUH???' again . it was fun. i had total freedom in a foreign land filled with hunky scandinavians, sexy firemen and rove live, big brother on tv. wat more can a gal ask for. (oh wait, maybe a 1 carat D-IF diamond....)
work - business process analysis, remodelling and how IT as a tool supports business change. (i also dun know wat this means )
so there, think that is a perfect example wat you study does not determine wat your career will be. best is to go with wat your interests are and get that piece of paper asap
good luck in your course selection
i studied in computer science, but ended up being a teacher...
