21st century end of marriage?

With the rise in the status of women worldwide and even future dominance of female, will the instuition of marriage be discarded?In short, are we withnessing the end of marriage this century giving rise to singles who just adopt children, have surrogate procreation or even cloning?

So long as religion remain widespread, I don't think marriage will be abolished.

i agree with chip too..... but ppl might just marry when they're in their late 30's and realise their only option is to adopt.
