ytd night.
Someone trigger me to get healthy.
I decided to be healthy and try to lead a healthier lifestyle.
First, I told myself I needa slim down.
Second, I told myself I need quit smoking.
When I woke up today, I told myself the same thing.
Don't smoke anymore and dun glup every food I find...
I went to work...
Smoke:
Before I start working, I gave up the smoking part, I went to 7-11 buy one pack of ciggs...
Sainz.
Food:
During meal break, I drank only orange juice, and after work I also only drank orange juice.
But after I reach home...
"wha fridge got ice cream"
*take one ice cream...*
One big bowl of rice
5 big chicken drum stick
One big bowl of very unhealthy oily thick soup...
2 cups of milo
Then I sit down awhile...
*take another ice cream*
Conclusion for today trying to keep healthy,
Failed.
Probably you need to work oversea for you to real.Singaporeans are too pamper in many ways till the days you start to travel to work.

dude. drinking orange juice in place of a meal is anything but healthy >.< you need to eat. but 'properly'. being healthy isn't about starving yourself. that would be anything but healthy. take baby steps. set small goals for each day/week. like: have fruit/veggie with every meal. or: get out of the elevator a few floors below and walk up to yours. or: have 8 glasses of water a day. etc.
and don't beat yourself up if you screw up. that's life.... you best just think about 'ok, so i screwed up day 1, so what can i do to not screw day 2 up'.
drink orange juice whole day of course will be hungry and over-compensate later.....
Just cut down on the food intake or choose healthier food for a start. And exercise.
Day 1 = phail~

Starving yourself is not a good idea, because you will just compensate for it by snacking in between meals or having a larger portion for the subsequent meal.
Try to cut down the amount of rice and oily food a little by a little, and try to exercise to slim down.
Drink some milo to make urself feel full...i am not joking, it it true
I suggest u dont quit smoking first cause
Reason is because u quit ur mouth will be very itchy n craving for foods so continue first till u slim down u can quit smoking =) unless u buy candies and chew everyday
and meat u can eat but eat less oily meats
try veggies more.
unless u want to try lao sai pills :D u sure slim down within in 1month hehe
change ur ice cream into a yogurt or something else milk or maybe yakult. :D
and make sure the big big chicken drumstick is not fried which is boiled or other cooking method which i dont know drink soup which is less oily like mutton soup or those indian ppl cook de soup.stay out of it or u will really be gonecase coz u wont lose weight but gain weight
try to change milo into chinese tea or others which is less sweet and if u want to drink it i prefer u to drink in the morning not in the night when u r goin to bed coz if u continue it u will get diabetes soon and try to sweat as much as possible
and if u manage to do it maybe u will turn into a pichu which is more cute xD
and dont skip meals i tried it b4 unless u wont want to eat and go to bed its ok but if u got gastric pain u must eat! and after u eat dun go to bed rest for 1hr or 30min then go to bed dun skip meals coz u skip u will be at least eating another serving of wad u normally eat
I get the sense that you are trying too much all at once.
1. Do not try to quit smoking + drastically change your diet at the same time. Focus on your diet first while cutting down on your cigarette smoking gradually.
If you can do both successfully, then you have my respect. Otherwise, focus on one challenge head-on, and tackle the other challenge gradually.
2. Do not skip any meals, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Otherwise, as others have pointed out, if you skimp on the earlier meals, you tend to overcompensate for dinner (which is all the more worse since your metabolism is at its lowest then).
Think about it.... what you ate for dinner is more than what I ate for the whole day!
3. Healthy eating does not mean you must turn vegan overnight or must give up all red meat. It's all about making healthier choices, such as braised chicken instead of fried chicken, fish instead of pork, or asking the chai png auntie for more veggies.
4. If you tend to snack, buy those little packets of California raisins or cranberries. Snacking on fruit is far more preferable to snacking on chocolates and other junk.

anyway, my 2 cents...lose the juice and have 3 meals+2 snacks - proper food.
eat more fruits which is crispy like apples or maybe try papaya? juicy too =x

you starved yourself the entire day, no wonder you went home and whack so much food. haha.
they say eat your meals, just make it balanced, and don't overeat in those meals is a good start..

Which is why I make a change of plan instead...
For 1 and a half month, I will only smoke 5 stick a day...
Morning when I wake up that is the most important one... So is a must for now...
Then I will bring out 3 to work, one before work, one during breaks and one after work...
and i left one last stick at home, which I can take anytime before I go to bed...
5 a day is really already a big challenge for me... for I normally smoke 20+ a day -.-"
I restart the whole thing and come up with a new plan...
Every wed and friday I will do light exercise and every sat night I will go cycling...
Food wise, I will force myself to eat nothing extra. No tibits or snacks or anything... Just my 2 meals a day and food is carefully choosen... (btw I only eat 2 meals a day)...
smoking wise, ytd and today, I manage to control and pnly smoke 5 stick... ^^
My plan is to do this until end of feb, and i should give myself new challenges... ^^
the hardest part about this is...
