  Well, true women charter act protects women.. but laws have a lot of loopholes.. you can always outsmart these.. i know.. but what is the point..

  women charter should be abolished anyway.. since women are working nowadays... women charter is needed because wife depends on husband for living..  therefore women charter should only be applicable to non-working wife (someone who has given up working for quite sometime for sake of family taking care) ...  i guess it is high time singapore law society should relook on this policy..  Or else everyone don't want to get marry.. and if marry, not share anything.. everyting must stipulate sole ownership..haha.. this will be crazy..

  Really...so far many Men has attempted to challenge and overturn the power of the women charter act.

  But all of them only end up crying home to their women at the end of the war.

  Well its not nice the way u put it. Apparently she married losers and got divorced a few times. I'm lucky. She and I are still good frens though.

  just remember that for guys, a wrong marriage can be a very very costly mistake financially that can keep biting you in the long term. For women, it will just be another failed relationship with the possibility of good investment returns.

  I saw too many unsuccessful marriage to put confidence in a piece of paper is plain naive. 1 out of 4 of my frens are divorced...that's 25%! What happened to the marriage vows and happiness? Do u guys have frens that are divorced too?

  Yes, another fellow of mine was put to the sword recently, he couldn't afford to maintain a maid ( got one but had to let go after a few months,  loss of face on his wife family side), can't afford to keep his car (sold it despite his wife anger, loss of face on his wife family side), he did not change his job to a 8-5 to help over with the child rearing and housework (is a man in blue, dangerous to leave, a bit old and not much qualifications, loss of face on his wife family side). In short, he failed to match up to his wife expectation, loss of face for his wife when she wanted to compare to her family side people. Haiz!
