The other day I was somewhere near St. Francis Xavier Major Seminary, and my car radio was tuned into BBC radio at 88.9.
Suddenly instead of BBC program the radio picked up two broadcasts - one from BBC, in English and the other one in Arabic. It was kind of chaotic, listen to both, but I can tell from listening to the Arabic, there were two guys talking to each others. Like a guy doing an interview and the other was giving a lecture or something.
As I do not understand a word of Arabic I got some help from my friend in Johore. He told me that the radio, which faded away in 20 minutes or so, was probably JI related, because, according to my friend, those guys talking Arabic were talking about some violent overthrow or revolution or something.
The radio broadcast appear mostly in the evening time, between 5PM to 7PM, and the broadcast only go like 15 to 30 minutes and then a sudden cut off.
I do not know if the authority know about this radio or not, but if the Arabic language broadcast is indeed JI related it is indeed very troubling.
And according to my friend in Johore, he said the broadcast most probably emanating from a place called "Pasir Putih", near Pasir Gudang, Johore.
Hope the authority can do something about this.
