Heard this from our Gita teacher...
Krishna Manjari
Lord Krishna’s link with dance and music is well-known. It is said that Krishna’s flute is not just music but a call to eternity. His dance with the Gopis is a dance of eternal love that leads to self-knowledge. Manjari means garland. As part of the GitaJayanthi celebrations, a few Hindu Organisations will be weaving a garland of songs, dances and skits in praise of Lord Krishna in “Krishna Manjari” – An evening of cultural performances.
All are welcome to join the cultural evening on Saturday, 30-Jan-2010 at 7:00PM at Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium, located next to Dover MRT
Tickets, priced at SGD10/- per head (free seating), are available with the participating Hindu Organisations. Patron tickets available for individuals / organizations who wish to contribute a larger sum for the function.
Call us at 6298-8892 or 9051-5114 or email Shri Karthik for tickets.
