Human beings spend all their lives preparing, preparing, preparing. . . . Only to meet the next life unprepared.

Always recite "Nanmo Amituofo" sincerely and diligently.

The difference between a wise man and a fool. The wise man keeps repenting even if he has not done any great wrongs. The fool does not repent and continue to commit many wrongs.

Know About Sufferng Only When We Are Sick
The Dharma talks about suffering. Saying that life is suffering and Samsara is about suffering.
A high-spirited person does not experience the pain of life. It is usual to avoid the thoughts of suffering when we are in our prime of establishing our careers, rising to positions of power and when everything is going well.
But when all sorts of adversity surface, especially when face with death, one comes to term that life is indeed suffering.
Sometimes, I feel that the Dharma is very "mature". It shows itself to people who are mature in mind. So when life fails to appreciate the Dharma, it often shows that the mind is yet to reach its maturity and not able to ponder upon life through the Dharma.
If one knows the truth of suffering only when he fell sick and realizes to repent only when face with death, will it be too late for him to go back in time?
If one knows the suffering of his body, timely practice brings good arrangement.

All the phenomenon arises from causes and conditions.

The Blessed Buddha once said:
When gradually developing the contemplation of Suffering (dukkha), one gradually overcomes the false perception of pleasure, of happiness.
Sometimes we were hurt by others once but we kept remembering the incident, repeating it in our mind and hurt ourselves over and over again.

If others have the ability to let you suffer; this shows that you are still not well practiced.
