THOUGHT-WORD-DEED
“There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic.
There exists, for everyone, a sentence - a series of words - that has the power to destroy you. Another sentence exists, another series of words, that could heal you. If you're lucky you will get the second, but you can be certain of getting the first.”
Of all the weapons of destruction that man could invent, the most terrible-and the most powerful-was the word. Daggers and spears left traces of blood; arrows could be seen at a distance. Poisons were detected in the end and avoided. But the word managed to destroy without leaving clues.

What goes around, comes around.

Always recite "Nanmo Amituofo" _/|\_ No more rebirth.
Rebirth?
Since there is no permanent self, what happens when a person dies?
Buddhism teaches "Re-becoming" [Kamma bhava], very often translated as 'rebirth', which needs to be clearly distinguished from the word 'reincarnation', a term used to describe the passage of a 'soul' from the body of one life to a new one.
In Buddhism, the consciousness that arises at conception is not the same as the consciousness of the individual at death but nor is it totally different. The connection from one life to the next is that of a NEW BECOMING arising from the old as a result of Kamma and conditions, rather than the wrong view of a passage of one 'essence' into a new body. Everyday I start off another day in the morning with today's life and events building on that which was wrought before today. I evolve from yesterday into today just like I evolve minute to minute from what was before.
There is no transference of any permanent self or being or soul as there is nothing permanent in the first place! Hence "reincarnation" is NOT an appropriate term to use as it implies 'something' to re-incarnate! Even 'rebirth' is not accurate but for lack of a better word, this term is often used. The reality is an endless stream of energy flowing on ceaselessly.

A Way Out
Offering others a way out is the same as offering ourselves a way out.
Being kind to others is being kind to ourselves.
When you say “He’s making life difficult for me,” you are actually making life difficult for him.
One hand alone cannot clap; it takes two to quarrel. When you get into an argument with others, rest assured that you are responsible for it to some degree. If we are willing to suffer disadvantage, avoid calculation and be accommodating, there will be no conflicts.
To be good to ourselves is to be good to the community, and to the world. The Buddha takes the best care of himself, while we regard ourselves as enemies, constantly punishing ourselves and looking for misery.
