While Buddhist medical theories acknowledge and treat the devastating effects of physical diseases, they regard diseases of the mind as the most destructive to health and happiness.
All of these diseases are caused by our rigid attachment - to an idea, belief, person, appearance, possession, emotion, status, or experience - to anything at all. If we can understand the true meaning of detachment and the true nature of emptiness and treat all illness with this awareness, we will then have the perfect miracle medicine to remove the roots of disease.
Use the Dharma to heal your mind, and the path of true health will open up for you.

How to live
Have we ever reflected on how we conduct our everyday lives? It is essential to have some form of planning for our conduct. We need to plan ahead on household activities and other daily matters. These activities, properly planned, can be more effectively and efficiently completed.
Conditions in life are unpredictable, ever-changing, and impermanent in nature. The presence of one event is often matched by the absence of its parallel event; the opposite conditions of suffering and happiness, to have and have not, favorable and unfavorable circumstances, success and failure, and gain and loss are some examples. How should we conduct ourselves in handling the changing conditions in life?
There are four guiding principles:
1. Accept the reality of changing circumstances with an unperturbed and peaceful mind.
2. Adjust our living according to circumstances.
3. Cultivate a mind free from worry and delusion.
4. Carry out duties and responsibilities with joy.
