忿怒�/Kodhavagga: Anger (Dhp 221-234)
能抑æ¢å�‘怒,如æ¢ç–¾è¡Œè½¦ï¼Œæ˜¯å��真御者,余为执缰人。
Who checks arising anger
as with chariot away,
that one I call a charioteer,
others merely grip the reins.
Explanation: That person who is capable of curbing sudden anger is like the expert charioteer who restrains a chariot rushing out of control. That person I describe as a true charioteer. The other charioteer is a mere holder of the reins.

Practicing Buddhism is about fulfilling duties in any position. Do not see mundane tasks as trivial matters and ignore the fact that you are in the human world.

What is the Cause of a Phenomenon?
He replied: Attention (manasik�ra) is the cause of any phenomenon!
Why so? When attention is present, the phenomenon appears... When attention is absent, the phenomenon disappears!

Everywhere you look is the dhamma. There is nothing in the world that is not dhamma.
But you must understand.... Happiness and unhappiness, pleasure and pain are always with us. When you understand their nature, the Buddha and the Dhamma are right there.
It is simple and direct once you understand.
When pleasant things arise, understand that they are empty (void of self, just a dhamma).
When unpleasant things arise, understand that they are not you, not yours; they pass away.
If you don't relate to phenomena as being you or see yourself as their owner, the mind comes into balance.
This balance is the correct path, the correct teaching of the Buddha that leads to liberation, non-grasping or vimutti. When you understand this balance, then the path becomes clear.
As you grow in understanding, when things come that are pleasant, you will realize that they are empty.
Finally, as you travel further along the path, you will come to see that nothing in the world has any essential value. There is nothing to hold on to.
When you have this right understanding, no matter where you sit or walk, you will have peace, and ease.
No matter where you practice, may you be aware of your body and mind!
Do not meditate only while you are sitting or walking. Everything, everywhere can be an object and a place of practicing.
