Being angry is punishing yourself because of others' fault.
To take care of my anger,
I bring attention to my breathing
and look deeply inside myself.
Right away I notice an energy there called anger.

Then I recognize that
I need another kind of energy
to take care of this anger,
and I invite that energy
to come up to do that job.
This second energy is called mindfulness.
Every one of us has the seed of mindfulness within us.
If we know how to touch that seed,
we can begin to generate the energy of mindfulness,
and with that energy,
we can take good care of the energy of anger.

这个色身,对人类æ�¥è®²æ˜¯ä¸ªè°œè¯ã€‚ä¸å›½ç ”究的就是《黄å¸�内ç»�》,用它æ�¥è¯´æ˜Žäººçš„规律,男的以八为基数,女的以七为基数。《黄å¸�内ç»�》å�¯ä»¥è¯´æ˜¯ä¸€æœ¬å¤©ä¹¦ï¼ŒçŽ°ä»£çš„åŒ»å¦æ°¸è¿œæ— 法超过《黄å¸�内ç»�》的范畴。
以å‰�有个人ä¸�ä¿¡ä½›é�“,亲人就把《é�“å¾·ç»�》放在他的枕头底下,ä¸�让他知é�“ï¼Œå°±è¿™æ ·ä¸�到一个月,就改å�˜äº†ä»–的看法,原æ�¥ä¸�ä¿¡ã€�排斥,å�Žæ�¥åˆ°æ…¢æ…¢æœ‰äº†å…´è¶£ã€‚ä½ çœ‹ï¼Œä¸å›½æ–‡å—,以å�Šä¸å›½åœ£è´¤ä¹¦ï¼Œå°¤å…¶æ˜¯è®©äººå¼€æ‚Ÿæˆ�佛的佛ç»�çš„åŠ æŒ�力,ä¸�å�¯æ€�议。

ä½ çœ‹ã€Šåœ°è—�ç»�》ä¸çš„æ¯�个å—都有护法神,ä¸�å�¯æ€�è®®å�§ã€‚å�¤äººè®²é€ å—的是仓颉,有四个眼ç�›ï¼Œå—é€ å‡ºæ�¥å�Žï¼Œå¤©åœ°é¬¼ç¥žéƒ½å“ã€‚ä½ ç›¸ä¿¡å�—?这就是文å—çš„å¨�力。å�¤äººéƒ½å¾ˆç��惜文å—,所以有惜å—炉,有å—的纸ä¸�能乱丢。如果石头上刻ç�€ä½›å�·ï¼Œæ±‰å—的佛å�·ï¼Œå°±ä»£è¡¨ä½›ã€‚所以说,佛ç»�æ–‡å—的功德大ä¸�大。
æ–‡å—çš„åŠ æŒ�力,ä¸�å�¯æ€�议。在《法å�Žç»�》ä¸ï¼Œæœ‰ä¸€å¤´ç‰›ï¼Œå°±é—»äº†é—»ã€Šæ³•å�Žç»�》å�Šéƒ¨ï¼Œå†�投胎就能背诵《法å�Žç»�》å�Šéƒ¨ã€‚这是什么?圣人è¯è¨€çš„åŠ æŒ�力。现在人都喜欢眼è§�为实,è¦�知é�“人类ç¦�报越æ�¥è¶Šå°�ï¼Œå¯¼è‡´å…æ ¹è¶Šæ�¥è¶Šç²—糙,能感知的范围越æ�¥è¶Šå°�äº†ã€‚ä½ è¯´ï¼Œçœ¼ç�›èƒ½è§�到多少东西呢?而且éš�ç�€å¿ƒä¹±ï¼Œé‚ªè§�ï¼Œå¯¼è‡´æ— æ³•å…¥é�“。佛æ‰�说,这是末法。
ä½›ç»�çš„åŠ æŒ�力ä¸�å�¯æ€�议。现在讲,有一本佛ç»�在,就有一个修é�“的场,这个ç£�åœºã€‚å‡¡æ˜¯åœ£äººå‘†è¿‡çš„åœ°æ–¹ï¼Œéƒ½æœ‰åŠ æŒ�åŠ›ã€‚è¿™ä¸ªåŠ æŒ�力ä¸�å�¯æ€�议,ä¸�è¦�以为,他å�ªæ˜¯æ–‡å—,å�ªæ˜¯å�°åˆ·çš„ä¸€æœ¬ä¹¦ï¼Œé‚£æ˜¯äººç±»è‡ªå·±æ— æ˜Žï¼Œçœ‹ä¸�到文å—åŠ æŒ�力而已。
所以啊,大家è¦�æ�敬佛ç»�,æ�敬文å—,下辈å�æ‰�能有智慧,æ‰�能认识å—。ä¸å›½è¿™ä¹ˆå¤§ï¼Œä¸�识å—的人也有,ä¸�识å—å°±æ— æ³•çœ‹ä½›ç»�,是很苦的。



A Sense That Your Arm is Short
... The Buddha's teachings are direct, straightforward, and simple, but hard for someone who's starting to practice them because his knowledge can't reach them.
It's like a hole: People by the hundreds and thousands complain that the hole is deep because they can't reach to its bottom. There's hardly anybody who will say that the problem is that his arm is short.
The Buddha taught us to abandon evil of every kind. We skip over this part and go straight to making merit without abandoning evil. It's the same as saying the hole is deep. Those who say their arms are short are rare.
