can lead one astray for a much longer time,
making it very hard to find the right path.

However industrious you may be,
there is no end to worldly activities;
but if you practice the Dharma
you will swiftly conclude everything.
However nice they may seem,
samsaric affairs always end in disaster [i.e. death];
but the fruits of practicing the Dharma
will never deteriorate.
Since beginningless time you have collected and encouraged
karma, negative emotions, and habitual tendencies,
which force you to wander in Samsara.
If you continue like that, when will liberation arrive?
If you only see all this at the moment of death, it’s rather too late -
when the head’s already been severed, what use is any medicine?
Recognizing the suffering of Samsara,
turn toward the peace of Nirvana.

生æ»è½®å›ž/ The cycle of Birth and Death
佛陀告诉我们,ä¸�论是轮回到人é�“,畜生é�“或是天é�“里的众生,寿命虽然å�„有ä¸�å�Œï¼Œä½†æ˜¯æ²¡æœ‰ä¸€ç§�生命的å˜åœ¨æ˜¯æ°¸æ�’ä¸�å�˜çš„。当业报完结以å�Žï¼Œä»–们å�ˆä¼šå› 新的业力所产生的作用而å†�轮回。

The cycle of Birth and Death/生æ»è½®å›ž
The Buddha pointed out the wherever one is reborn, whether as a human being, as an anumal or as a god, none of these states of existence is permanent. The average life span of the living beings in the six realms of existence differs but non of them last forever. Eventually, rebirth will take place. The realm into which is one is reborn and one's conditions of birth are determined by one's past and present actions. The is the law of karma at work.
The Buddha declared that there is no permanent rest in this cycle of birth and death. It is only when one follows the Noble Eightfold Path taught by the Buddha and eventually attains Nirvana that one finally becomes free from this ceaseless cycle and gains supreme and permanent happiness.

The Buddha said:
"Three months from now, I will pass away. Be earnest, be mindful and be of pure virtue. With determination, guard your own mind. Whoever untiringly follows the Teaching shall end rebirth and suffering."

It is easy to have compassion for someone we like or who has done us many good deeds, but we need to train to extend our compassion far beyond that.

It is said that when Buddha attained enlightenment, all he wanted to do was to show the rest of us the nature of mind and share completely what he had realized. But he also saw, with the great sorrow of infinite compassion, how difficult it would be for us to understand.
For even though we have the same inner nature as Buddha, we have not recognized it because it is so enclosed and wrapped up in our individual ordinary minds.
Imagine an empty vase. The space inside is exactly the same as the space outside. Only the fragile walls of the vase separate one from the other. Our buddha mind is enclosed within the walls of our ordinary mind. But when we become enlightened, it is as if the vase shatters into pieces. The space “inside” merges instantly into the space “outside.” They become one: There and then we realize that they were never separate or different; they were always the same.



æ�¶æ–å°±æ…¢æ…¢ä¾¿æ— è‹¦ï¼Œå–„è¡Œå°±æ…¢æ…¢å¾—ä¹�。
Avoiding negative deeds gradually dispel sufferings。
Cultivation wholesome deeds gradually attain happiness.
Good and evil people are all our teachers. The good ones teach us to be good. The evil ones are like mirrors, show us where are the wrongs and adjust ourselves accordingly, not to be like them.



Always recite "Nanmo Amituofo" can lighten heavy negative karma.

观世如水泡,观世如幻相,如是观世者,æ»é”(Maccuraja)ä¸�å¾—è§�。
One who looks upon the world as a bubble and a mirage, him the King of Death sees not.
Explanation: Look at a bubble. How impermanent is it? Look at a mirage. What an illusion! If you look at the world in this way, even the king of death will not see you.

"Greed is so well organized that we call it economic prosperity.
Ill will is so organized that we call it defense and we make weapons and war.
Ignorance is so well organized that we study about everything except ourselves."
