Everyone, there is currently a world sporting event in Singapore.
It is Wakeboard World Cup 2004 Singapore held at Bedok Reservoir on 30-31 Oct 04
Today, i was around Bedok and went across to Bedok Reservoir around 3pm.
It was an awesome display of jumps for the world elite. Though I has not try Wakeboard yet, but i can do appreciate beauty when i see one.
Though today was the qualifying round, it still managed to generate quite a fair bit of crowd. Sunday is the Final, more world class display by the elite is expected. It is an event, you ought not to miss. Do make a trip down to support the participants and a chance to witness a world class event.
Those that drive there, forget about parking at Bedok Reservoir carpark, the chances are practically zero. Do park at those HDB carparks at Bedok Reservoir road. Anyway, Sunday parking is free and the distance to the event location is similar. There is Police along Bedok Reservoir road to remind car owners not to take a short cut by parking along the road side. As for Motorcycle, do as usual, park anywhere you like...
Bring along a cap or sun tan location as it is an open air event. An umbrella will come in handy if the weather turn violent as it frequently happens nowadays.
Lookout for the ice-cream uncle; Having ice-cream while watching the display is an enjoyable experience.

yup, i went past there wif my frens today but to us, i tin it was quite boring cos we are at the far end, cannot see too clearly... didnt see anything much
