  silvestre is not a bad player.
  
  he can overlap well, fast and provides pretty good cross.
  
  2-0 would be a compliment to man utd without silvestre.
  
  say, have u guys wonder the price tag on rooney = the entire Portsmouth team?

  indeed a disappointing defeat and performance by manchester united last night... it seems like for the whole of this season, they cannot find consistency... no excuses really, i am wondering if it could be the form of the players or the cooperation of the team... i think strikers like smith, rooney, saha and van nistelrooy are all proven strikers, however, the midfield of manchester united seems to be a bit less productive these days...
  
  my personal opinion...
  roy keane is old now, a bit toned down, scholes has been struggling to find form this season, havent seen him really performing in a game, ronaldo is the only one the whole team is depending on right now... phil neville is just but a defensive midfielder, giggs is a bit old too, though skilful, but like scholes, seems to be finding his form, o shea does quite ok as a midfielder, i think they need someone who can really control the midfield, hold the balls and do the passes like how they used to play... or maybe its becoz most teams in the premier league are using pace to attack... a rock solid midfield is a must if they want to push up... now, i think they are definitely not there...

  i tot darren fletcher or kleberson can be one .. but like all the others, he also inconsistent .. so sad .. i think chelsea will win this season EPL .. provided they can stay injury-free ..

  O' Shea is being used to replaced Roy Keane. Ferguson seems to be deploying him that way.

  my take on the lost of form this season; non existence of midfield.
  
  I am not pro-Beckham; no one player is greater than club. However, if anyone notices, there is no early ball/crosses from the midfield anymore, even during counter-attack. Used to be that way, when the MU strikers need to beat just one or two defenders before slotting home. Nowadays, especially Ronaldo, will do his stepovers/dummies/feints along the wing before releasing the ball, ie. if he can, cause he'll be hacked down & all MU get is a free-kick. If he did get a ball through, by then the whole opposition's team will be defending, like that, how to score freely?
