Cant advise u on the strengthening part, but will advise u to watch out for the pain, especially on the shin or ankle area, doesnt necessarily means it weak only, may also mean u are starting to wear out ur ankle or sufferring from stress on ur legs..
Go read one article in the ST today, there is something on arthritis, which is incurable..for OCD on the ankle, pain in the lower leg is a warning sign...
