I can understand why the response has been non existence because of the price. I am sure that we can get a better deal some other day when it's not on a high season period.
Should there be any cancellation, I second Nigel's idea on going across the causeway for our games.

After an exhausting and non-stop search, we have found a flight to Bangkok going on the 11th and back on the 13th Feb. Our objective is to stay 2 nights and play three games. There is a package available that I think is quite attractive considering it's on festive period.
The package comes with 2 nights accomodation at Emerald hotel (twin sharing) and 3 games at Thai Country Club (5 star), Summit Windmill (5 stars), and Bangkok Golf Club (4.5 stars), caddy fees, daily breakfast and transportation. The package price is S$ 920.00 / person.
There is a slight concern on the first day cause the flight arrives at 1215 and we are not sure whether we'll have enough time to play at Thai Country club. I am making a check on that, and should there be an insufficient time, we'll have to make a change to the course that is nearer to the airport.
So far, we have five confirmed "COCKSTERS" and we'll need at least another cock or three more to complete this wonderful journey.
