Hi all...
This is my 1st post in sg.forum..
I've actually have something to ask, & hope to have your opinions..
The 1950s was Singapore’s ‘golden sporting years’, when it produced world champions in badminton and weight lifting and ruled Asia in water polo. However, soon after that, Singapore’s performance in the sports arena fell. And for the last few years, Singapore started to import foreign players, coaches and sports administrators.
1) Do you think sports immigrants are regarded as representatives of Singapore?
2) How do you feel when sports immigrants win competitions for Singapore?
3) Is it because Singaporeans no longer have the ability to win a medal for
Singapore, thus there is this 'import' trend?
4) Why do you think Singapore have to relying on foreign players?
What are your opinions?
1) Do you think sports immigrants are regarded as representatives of Singapore?
- Yes. Singaporean mind set has changed. Don't blame the government or what. This is also applicable to any industry. Like Singaporean employees, before even think about how to work, but first ask about questions like "what is the packages offered? what's the benefits? what's the rewards?" Pay you my a.s.s.
2) How do you feel when sports immigrants win competitions for Singapore?
- Feeling extremely GOOD. We afford to pay, and they done a good job. This is a win-win situation. Everybody happy. (Except those untalented lousy sport crying babies, cannot do s.h.i.t, but want big money).
3) Is it because Singaporeans no longer have the ability to win a medal for
Singapore, thus there is this 'import' trend?
- Yes. Most of them sucks.
4) Why do you think Singapore have to relying on foreign players?
- Because they are sucks. If they are good, those foreign players don't even have a chance to come in. Blame who?
What are your opinions?
- All this talents imports is wise decision. Come on, lossers don't blame or get jealous when people can do better than you. Find a hole, and hide there.
