gudjohnsen played out of position.
joe cole as usual tried too hard to be the hero.
ketzman proved to be a total flop. -
Liverpool played their heart out while Chelsea missed a perfect oppty to equalise through Gudjohnsen's late shot. That would have broken all Liverpudlians' hearts.
However, that's not the case and the Reds march on to Istabul.

looking at the faces in the crowd it would be heartbreaking if gudjohnsen had scored. this i feel is the best outcome. chelsea have the consolation of 2 cups, liverpool have none.
now it is all up to the liverpool players to salvage their season and give the fans something to really cheer about!!! -
