I have no preference... just that different brands have different areas that they're strong in...
Nike - Very nice apparel, shoe design only average
Adidas - Very nice shoe design (esp. soccer boots), average apparel design
Asics - Optimal shoes for running with it's GEL cushion, apparel design sucks
New Balance - Overpriced for it's worth, average apparel/shoe design, otherwise fine
Teva - Great water shoes and sandals... Impressive durability, but limited design
Tips: when buying shoes, especially those for serious usage, try not to buy those that are of discounted price and that on display. These are usually off-season shoes, there's a higher chances that the glue on the soles are less sticky and shoes may not last as long...
