but u must see....chelsea brings in multiple players worth tens of mils in a single transfer window....man utd bring in 1 or 2 per transfer window....but then again...good to see players hype up to beat each other for honours....tats wat make EPL so interesting

no idea mate....but if chelsea or man utd not at the top 2 positions.....they will def buy more players.....

Manchester United that time lost to Blackburn. 1-2 is the score line. I feel that the title race is over. Man U had yet again threw points at home, which they cannot afford to do so. 3 points to be exact. I'm a Man U fan. But it really breaks my heart to say thisÂ…but if Man U can't even beat Blackburn, how can they achieve success in Europe as well as in the EPL, or even the Carling and FA Cup.
Manchester United stadium has a nickname, which is the "Theatre of Dreams". From this kind of situations, which Man U is facing, it could might as well change it to "Theatre of Broken Dreams" -

Before Man Utd had their famed class of '92(Beckham,Scholes, Butt, the Nevilles), they also had to recruit good players from other clubs e.g Roy Keane, Mark Hughes, Cantona, etc
The difference now is that because of inflation, transfer fees for players have risen through the roof. Ten years ago, a Wayne Rooney wouldn't have cost over 10 million pounds, especially given his youthfulness and (lack of) experience.
That's what makes people think they are spending a lot of money as compared to before. The truth is they are doing roughly the same thing they did many years ago.
Alongside Beckham, Scholes, Butt, Giggs and the Nevilles who came through the youth system, there was Jaap Stam, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, etc who were bought for record sums back then. -
I would have to disagree with the first part of that paragraph. If you mean they have a long way to go to match teams like Bayern Munich in the purely footballing sense i.e winning matches, then I think Chelsea have the edge over at least Bayern. Didn't Chelsea knock out Bayern last year in the Champions League quarter finals? Based on the past one year and now, Chelsea definitely has what it takes to match and even supersede some of these European superpowers. But when it comes to European pedigree, i.e number of trophies won, that's where Chelsea is at present still lacking.
