  To think that Newcastle bought alot of players which dun perform in Newcastle but once left Newcastle became dame good. Some are top players previously but end up in shit standards in Newcastle. Below are some examples:
  
  1) Tomasson
  2) Louis Saha
  3) Stephane Guivarch
  4) Lee Bowyer
  5) Kluivert
  6) James Milner
  7) Marcelino

  Pls take no.4 and 6 off the list.
  Bowyer is beginning to show his class that he has shown at Leeds. Milner is still young and has plenty of potential to improve on. He is just being loaned to another club.
  
  No.3 Stephane Guivarch is a classic example. Went there as French league top scorer for Auxerre, 2 seasons running if i remember correctly. I think he scored less than 5 goals during that season for newcastle. Most classic is during world cup 98 when he was first choice forward for france.. France won the tournament and he didnt score a single goal. Even Lauren Blanc and Lilian thuram scored!

  and there is a croatian silvio manic (something like that).. and hugo viana. so much are said abt them but little is delivered.

  You mean Silvio Maric? Didn't even know he joined the Magpies. And to call myself a fan indeed.
