1. Czech Republic - Need full points in their last game away to finland to gain a playoff spot. Anything less than 3 points means they would be out and Romania goes to playoff instead.
Very tough for them, their inconsistency is the problem. At some point, they are extremely good, beaten Holland 6 times in a row (before end of Euro 04), after that, start going down.

2. Greece - Euro2004 champs' hopes of clinching second spot in their grp hangs by a thread as they trail 2 other teams vying for the playoff spot, Denmark and Turkey. Need to win their final game and hope both rivals falter in theirs.
They don't deserve to qualify. Well, I don't want to watch another boring match in World Cup 06 where another team keep attacking, but another team keep defending. Greece strategy sux, they play 11 defenders, boring! Should be out. No, I should say "MUST" be out.

3. Russia - World cup regulars Russia may miss out playoff spot to rivals Slovakia.

4. France - In the tightest european grp, the once invincible bleus, winner of WC98 and EC2000, could either top the grp or face elimination, depending on results from other games.
Old folks team.

5. Spain - Would be grateful for a playoff spot this time round, after too many slip ups.
Problem, full of talented players, but every time show dissapointed results. Maybe their players are having too much luxury life, so to win or not to win doesn't make much differences. Unlike Brazil and Argentina, most of their players came from poor background, so, the will to win is strong.
