I'm currently wearing a Casio G-Shock... but thinking of getting a Casio G-Shock Frogman and Timex Flix Ironmen soon...

wat kind of sports are you into?? unless you are heavily involved in mountaineering or adventure racing where you need information like altitute, pressure or temperature, otherwise there's no need for a Casio Protrek.
Nevertheless, it's a great watch. From my point of view, much better in it's price, durability and reliability compared to more fancy stuff like Tissot T-Touch...
If you need watch for general sports that is durable, cheap and provides you basic functions (stopwatch, EL light, countdown etc...). Basic models of Casio G-Shock, Casio Baby-G, Casio PHYS and some model of Timex would be good enough... If you need things of a higher grade with better functions (heart rate monitor, auto EL light etc...) Timex or Polar would be good
