How much does Morientes cost? How about Cisse? How about Crouch? Xabi Alonso? then Luis Garcia? How about Sissoko? and Jose Reina (the best Spanish goal, claimed to be)?
None of them are cheap.
But I can't believe they struggling to score one goal agaists 10 lousy Blackburn players. Just one lucky goal.
Though they spent, in total less than Super-Chelsea, but that kind of performance convincing?

hello i have been supporting Chelsea since 1998..and Yes i'm enjoying the success we are enjoying at the moment and may it continue for a long long time.. and neither am i bothered by the accusations that we spent to win..ANyway Kose Mourinho has to be the best buy for Chelsea..

i used to support chelsea at that time also, my fav Gianfranco Zola, his freekicks, and the most memorable goal to me is that one he drib thru a few ManU def in the box, send the ball into the goal and Peter Schmeichel couldnt do anything but watched it. The things posted here will invite alot of anti-chelsea fans who followed the bandwagon by hating them. But my favourite manager is Jose Mourinho the man best known not only for his arrogance like Alex Ferguson, a man not only best known for so call buying chelsea's first title, BUT A MAN WHO WON MOST OF HIS TROPHIES WITH A CLUB I DARE TO BET THOSE MAN UTD, ARSENAL LIVERPOOL GLORY HUNTERS NEVER HEARD OF FC Porto (former portugese champions - now Benfica).
Hmm you may say that season, Porto won the CL becoz all the big teams like Man Utd, Milan, Real, Barcelona, Juve didnt perform. I THOUGHT MONEY CAN BRING U SUCCESS? THOSE CLUBS GOT THE MONEY, where is the success that season? Porto lucky that season? Hmm how come Man Utd, Milan, Real, Barcelona not lucky?
Oh yeah i heard you said they got wonderful players like deco, maniche, constiha , cavalho? Mind you those players are relatively unknown before they won the CL. You glory hunters only heard about them AFTER they won the CL.
And please dont start those with that kind of money anyone also can win crap, Mourinho can win with a club that have a budget that is lower than the value of rooney's transfer money, of course he can win with a money crazy club like Chelsea

Actually from the way the season has gone so far, if Abramovic didnt support Chelsea, the title is going back to Man Utd again, Arsenal is stuttering (no vieira no henry), Liverpool still needs time (may be they can win it, but certainly their last few games isnt convincing enough though), newcaslte needs to be more balance and consistent, tottenham may be can surprise a few ppl and can even challedge for top 4, but certaining it would take more to win the title, carlton , wigan and those teams may not last the pace.
From a neutral point of view, at least we won't get to see either Man Utd or Arsenal win the title again. One think i can't understand people mentality is that Chelsea only won one title after 50 years and people are already complaining its bad for the english game and that this second title is already in the bag, and epl become more boring becoz no competition anymore blah blah.
